Case Study
An animal welfare group asked us to provide private investigator services to assist in exposing the unlawful movement of horses from Ireland through Germany to Italy where their meat was used for human consumption.
Result:
The task commenced as the livestock HGV vehicle arrived in the UK. We had operatives deployed in Germany at a confirmed disembarkation port while another team discreetly followed the vehicle from the UK through Belgium to the area of Frankfurt in Southern Germany.
We were able to secure evidence of horses being slaughtered at an abattoir outside Frankfurt. Carcasses were then transported through Switzerland to Italy for distribution.
